Chad Sweet

Chad Sweet is a Co-Founder of the The Chertoff Group, a global advisory firm and investment bank exclusively focused on the security sector. Mr. Sweet formerly served as the Chief of Staff of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Prior to becoming Chief of Staff of DHS, Mr. Sweet worked as an investment banker at the firms of Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs as well as served in the CIA's National Clandestine Service.
 
Previously as the Chief of Staff of DHS, Mr. Sweet helped Secretary Michael Chertoff manage one of the largest federal agencies with approximately 220,000 dedicated homeland security professionals and an annual budget of over $50 billion.
 
After leaving DHS, Secretary Chertoff and Mr. Sweet co-founded The Chertoff Group to consult with companies and governments on their own security as well to advise on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the security industry. With over a decade of investment banking experience, Mr. Sweet has been involved in more than 40 successful sell- and buy-side M&A and capital formation engagements. His recent deals include advising Potomac Fusion on its sale to Sotera, Arlington Capital on its acquisition of FGM and White Oak Technologies to form Novetta Solutions, Veritas Capital on its acquisition of EIG to form "The SI", Waud Capital on its acquisition of Summit Solutions and subsequent merger with Point One to form National Security Partners, Berkshire Partners on its acquisition of ESP, and Safran's acquisition of L-1 Identity Solutions, among others.
 
Mr. Sweet is a FINRA Registered Representative (Series 7, 24, 63, 79) and registered representative of Chertoff Capital, LLC, a wholly-owned broker dealer subsidiary of The Chertoff Group. He is a member of The Association for Corporate Growth National Capital Chapter, GEN NEXT, and the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) - U.S. Capital Chapter. He is also a Senior Fellow at the George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute, a Member of the FBI's InfraGard Advisory Board, a Senior Fellow at the Center for Naval Analysis, and a frequent commentator on national security issues for CNN, FOX, and CNBC. Mr. Sweet graduated with honors from Columbia University.

George S. Rich is managing partner of GRI Fund, L.P., an investment partnership specializing in growth capital and leveraged investments in consumer, business, and telecommunication services. From 1992 to 2002, Mr. Rich was a founder and managing director of Armata Merchant Partners LLC, a private merchant bank. Prior to forming Armata, Mr. Rich was a Managing Director with Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated, where he was responsible for investment banking services to transportation and consumer companies, two industry groups co-founded by Mr. Rich in 1981. Prior to Alex Brown, Mr Rich was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers in New York from 1974 to 1977.

Mr. Rich currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fury Management, Inc., American Messaging, Inc., Salsaritas Restaurant, Inc., Medical Records Associates, Inc., LeaseAccelerator, Inc., 6th Street Inc., (Parent to SalesWarp) and Captel, Inc. Mr. Rich served as an Advisory Director at Texas Roadhouse Holdings, Inc. from 1996 until 2004. Mr. Rich continues to serve as President of Texas Roadhouse’s Employee Foundation, Andy’s Outreach. Mr. Rich has served as a director of seven additional companies in consumer services, manufacturing, and media services.

Mr. Rich graduated from Hobart College in Geneva, New York with a BA in 1970 and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with an MBA in 1974.

Larry Pfeiffer

Larry Pfeiffer is the director of the Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence, Policy and International Security at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.  He is a highly respected and recognized expert in the areas of national and homeland security policy, crisis management, intelligence strategy, analysis and collection, overt and covert operations, and budgetary matters. A distinguished 32-year career in the US Intelligence Community included stints as senior director of the White House Situation Room and chief of staff to Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Michael V. Hayden. Mr. Pfeiffer also serves as a senior advisor to The Chertoff Group and is on the board of Valiant Integrated Services, a service provider to the US government, its allied partners, and international organizations.

Bob founded Centerman Capital in 2012 with a commitment to provide early stage strategy and private equity to natural food, beverage and exceptional Founder led companies. Centerman Capital leads private equity investments through “The Power Play Fund I & II” with Bob executing the General Partner role. Prior to Centerman Capital, Bob was the CFO/VP of Finance at Food Should Taste Good. Bob was also a co-founder and CFO of Delivered Dish restaurant delivery service that in December 2015 sold to GrubHub after a successful process. In his senior management career, Bob served as the Controller of Great Eastern Seafood, a $25 million fresh seafood wholesaler, the Controller of a $300 million Wood Procurement Organization at Sappi Fine Paper, the COO of Dining In, then the nation’s largest restaurant delivery service, and the COO at Movers Specialty Service, the nation’s leading specialty moving services company. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science/Accounting degree from Lehigh University, and was captain of the cross-country team.

Katherine leads internal operations and security management for ZP Group. Leveraging Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management principles, she brings over 15 years of experience building and honing the processes and systems needed for effective, compliant operations, including rapid staffing and contract transition. Katherine and her team onboard employees to ZP Group’s contracts and customer environments, providing the full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) support needed to deliver seamless transitions for our customers. Her progressive track record includes high-growth, scalable programs that required her team to hire and transition highly-technical employees into cleared and non-cleared environments within a specified timeframe across multiple geographic locations.

David Zalewski is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for ZP Group. He is responsible for all financial management and oversees all corporate and financial operations. Prior to joining ZP Group, David served as Chief Accounting Officer for Citrix (NASDAQ: CTXS). While at Citrix, David was responsible for all global accounting operations and accounting policy, including revenue recognition, general accounting, global payroll processes, procurement, financial reporting (internal and external) and accounting compliance.

Justin Jordan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ZP Group. He is responsible for architecting the operational, sales and corporate structure of the organization. Justin has a twenty-plus year history building high-performance teams and scaling rapid-growth businesses. Prior to founding each of the ZP Group companies, Justin led the organic growth of two technology-services businesses to $100M or greater, in five years or less, and has managed P&L’s in excess of $600M. Justin is the son of a U.S. Diplomat and has lived in India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Ecuador and Peru, where he has worked in multiple U.S. Embassies. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Elon University.

ZP Group has created over $500M in enterprise value since inception (2011), including the sale of Crypsis to Palo Alto  (PANW) in 2020.
